Hello! I’m Iva Young.

I talk a lot about nutrition and wholesome goodies for your body, but also about home fitness routines that help you create a more confident and stronger body, what it means to cultivate soul-shakingly good relationships, a heart-centered personal life, keeping a strong relationship with God, a healthy home environment, the importance of creativity (and fun!), kicking ass in your career, and making sure you show up as the sharpest, most giving, generous version of YOU that you can. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!

And while I might look fancy in my pictures, I promise I’m really just a normal girl like you.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada prior to moving to California, where I now live. Despite failing 2nd grade, I worked my way through college and university and became a Board Certified Health Counselor (AADP) and published author of the nutrition book, HEALTHY MOM.

Throughout my 21 year marriage, I learned about the importance of truly loving yourself. You see, I learned firsthand until you love yourself you will not be able to love others. Feeling unhealthy, fat and generally unwell two years after the birth of my youngest child, I discovered the beauty of the number one health and fitness solution company on the planet: Beachbody. Like many other Beachbody enthusiasts, my transformation began with the acclaimed P90X program. This program was the catalyst in my decision to create my ideal life as a Beachbody coach. Despite many naysayers, I took the leap to refocus my career on something I absolutely loved: nutrition and whole living. This has proven to be the best decision of my life. Well, maybe the second best after deciding to have my two kids!

Since entering the world of entrepreneurship, business has quickly become another passion. I’m completely determined to help others do what they were meant to do, and live the lives they were meant to live. Don’t get me wrong— it takes work. Hard work. And lots of it. But it can be tons of FUN and immensely gratifying, too. I didn’t get to where I am today by having rich or famous parents, or by having an “in” in the industry; I got here because I worked hard.
